This is an excellent communications role with one of the global leaders in construction and management consultancy. The Global Internal Communications Manager will drive the development and execution of the firm's internal communications strategy to build staff morale and drive change in an increasingly diverse and growing organisation.

The role sits in the marketing and communications team within the wider global business generation function, reports to the global head of marketing and communications at the firm and will be both strategic and tactical in nature. You will with stakeholders to source information and content as appropriate, align content and channels, and be the point person for any internal communications-related queries in the business. The Global Internal Communications Manager will be responsible for developing a global internal communication strategy and supporting messaging framework to improve employee engagement and must create a long-term integrated internal communications plan that effectively links key messages and helps reduce initiative fatigue across the business, to include managing the integrated plan and ensuring the 'need to know' information is effectively communicated. You will motivate and equip staff to tell the firm's story and enable the firm's leaders to improve 'mojo' across the business with guidance, great materials and inspirational content, injecting creativity to improve the impact of internal communications with a consistent message told in impactful ways. The role holder will also manage and execute day-to-day internal corporate communications including the intranet newsfeed, sourcing and writing engaging news features.

It is important that you are bright with a good academic background allied to proven internal communications and employee engagement in a global professional services organisation, to include experience of working with, and influencing, a diverse global team to deliver successful projects in region and a demonstrable track record of managing senior executive and CEO internal communications. The successful candidate will have the ability to critically assess new ideas and turn these ideas into compelling and relevant deliverables which deliver business impact and drive desired employee behaviour. Excellent writing skills are a given and the ability to put your points across to a very senior internal audience and persuade and advise them is also essential. The Global Internal Communications Manager will be passionate about acting as an ambassador for change in the company and will have a can do attitude and be a confident self-starter with the ability to partner well with key stakeholders to drive results. They will be also be quick thinking, curious and innovative as well as comfortable managing ambiguity.
