Head of B2B Channel Marketing

Up to £320 PAYE or £420 Limited company MAX

Set the B2B Channel Marketing vision & Strategy and build a strong set of capabilities that deliver upon the set strategic objectives and sell-out targets.

Key Objectives:

  1. Develop the channel MKT vision and Strategy based on strong channel and business insight
  2. Build world class channel MKT capabilities and a team able to deliver best practice channel marketing

Key Responsibilities...

  • Develop the channel MKT Vision and Strategy based on strong customer, channel, and competitor and market insight. Set the Channel Marketing Agenda for B2B
  • Provide clear direction to the channel MKT team, allowing them to build strong channel marketing programmes that overlay retail channel partners’ own life-cycle and calendar plans
  • Build strong channel mkt capabilities with a focus on insight led planning and ROI based decision making
  • Develop channel MKT relationships with all accounts, across different MKT disciplines and across different levels.
  • To ensure that the Channel Marketing team have a cohesive six month marketing plan and a 13-week promotional calendar in place for each account and each area to sell through stock in a timely manner.
  • Work with the Operator channel MKT teams to build retail channel marketing programmes that overlay operator channel partners’ own life-cycle and calendar plans
  • Overall responsible for channel MKT spend and ROI
  • Develop and influence channel relationship building to C-suite level.
  • Manage the retained agency, ensuring appropriate resources and support to deliver on brief, on time and within budget.
  • Attend quarterly planning sessions with the wider business to understand commercial and marketing focus for the upcoming quarter.
  • Work with the Sr. stakeholders across the business to ensure strong alignment between channel MKT and other teams (Commercial, product MKT, Retail, Product Management)
  • Update Marketing Director on weekly basis with challenges, key activities and results
  • Act as a real thought leader, driving change and implement new ways of working & thinking

  • Analytical approach to using data and insight for ROI and market opportunity

To be successful in this role you ideally have:-

  • Channel Marketing leadership experience in a B2B and Consumer environment
  • Worked with both smaller Indirect resellers as well as larger operators
  • Strong analytical skills
