Head of Brand Marketing - Perm or Interim
£70K-£80K + Benefits Package or Day Rate
Exciting opportunity to bring your broad base of consumer marketing skills to this very dynamic, fast-paced retail leisure business where driving significant growth is the #1 priority. This is a role where you’ll be juggling multiple priorities – driving the short-term brand building and sales agenda with regular promotional and in-store campaigns, and managing an innovation strategy and pipeline process to bring new and exciting products to the market. Supported by a small team, you’ll build close partnerships with major agencies, developing activity that is UK specific but in line with broader global strategies, ensuring that key stakeholders across the business buy-in to your ideas and recommendations.
In what is a challenging and highly competitive sector, we’re looking for someone with a proven background probably gained in a service, retail or leisure sector, but perhaps in a consumer goods business too. You’ll understand the importance of getting the consumer proposition right at every touchpoint; ensuring people love the brand and repeat purchase regularly!
This is a role for someone with real drive and energy who can see the bigger picture but also get stuck into the action. You’ll be able to respond to new trends and competitive issues in the market quickly, coming up with new ideas and promotional initiatives to drive the business.
