My client is a market leading online consumer business with an instantly recgonisable brand. With an ambitious growth strategy, they are clear leaders within their sector and continue to invest in brand and marketing communications. They now require at Head of Communications to join their existing marketing team to cover a period of maternity leave.

The Head of Communications will be responsible for developing and driving all internal, external communications and PR activity for the business.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Set and deliver the internal communications strategy
  • Oversee the effective delivery of all employee communications channels and touchpoints
  • Manage all business change communications
  • Oversee employee engagement approach, working with a range of stakeholders and business areas to create relevant programmes of events and activity
  • Establish and deliver the PR strategy and tactics to support delivery of the Brand Strategy and wider Marketing and Business objectives.
  • Overseeing press office activity, creating content in line with brand aims
  • Working closely with SEO team and Social Media Manager in development and delivery of SEO amplification activity
  • Crisis communications and corporate reputation management

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, senior marketing communications professional to excel in a rapidly growing business. It is important that you have excellent communication and influencing skills, you must have the ability to build and leverage relationships and you must be a confident, self motivated manager.
