A worldwide leading FMCG manufacturer with products selling in over 120 countries, are seeking a Head Of E-Commerce to join their team. The role will be very hands on across all digital and e-commerce channels; social, affiliates, display, retargeting, PPC and email marketing. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years’ experience working in a fast-paced Consumer Goods organisation at senior level.
You will organise the company’s E-Commerce marketing goals by planning, developing and implementing E-Commerce strategy within the UK market and also the EU strategy in the future.
A summary of what you’ll do as Head of E-Commerce:
Affiliate Campaign Management and Branding
Management of a Digital Marketing Executive
Own, manage and execute the online activities across the eCommerce function
Attract new and existing visitors to the eCommerce proposition via all customer acquisition methodologies including but not limited to SEO, PPC, e-mail, Affiliates, Display etc
Own, manage and execute the onsite merchandising and conversion activities including but not limited to, product promotions, price promotions, special campaigns etc
Minimum 6 years of global marketing experience
IMC marketing, campaign, promotional strategy planning experience
Research and create brand partnerships
Work with external SEO agencies to drive digital marketing traffic and ecommerce sales growth
Work collaboratively with the Brand Marketing, Digital Creative and CRM teams to deliver integrated marketing campaigns.
Working across the business to plan and schedule seasonal/yearly product launches.
Analyse competitor activity and market trends to stay ahead of the curve.
Create weekly and monthly reporting on KPIs for digital channels.
Research new and expanding markets/influencer's in order to increase exposure.
Working alongside design, production, PR and trading in order to streamline relevant messaging.
What we need from you:
Must have. 4-8 years’ experience in an FMCG/ Consumer goods e-commerce environment
Excellent communication skills, with both agency and in-house teams.
Have excellent written English and proof reading skills.
