Your new role
You will lead and manager the External Affairs team to deliver communications that are in line with the organisations communications strategies. You will develop communication plans for the organisations departments and divisions. You will support and performances manage the Public Affairs Manager on a day to day basis. You will ensure that outputs from the External Affairs Team are of a consistently high quality. You will help to deliver digital transformation strategies. You will oversee the training programmes for staff and deliver training where appropriate. You will take part in an out of hours media rota.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have proven experience of leading and developing media teams. You will have demonstrable record of success in designing and managing complex and multiple communications work streams. You will have a proven and consistent track record of originating and implementing creative media or influencing ideas and collaborating with others to do so. You will have Good experience of working collaboratively with stakeholders and other teams and organising others to do so.
What you'll get in return
A generous salary between 52,965 - £59,635 depending on experience, pension, life assurance, interest free season ticket loan, childcare vouchers, 25 days annual leave, Christmas Closure and Subsidised Lunches.
