Head of Marketing is an integral role to aid the delivery of the overall strategic plan.
Your new role
As Head of Marketing you will develop, lead and manage the marketing department focused on implementing and supporting the Business Development Directorate’s strategy in order to enhance SQA’s success.
Providing lead on all marketing activity across all audience channels, you will provide insight and advice across all aspects of marketing to ensure its centrality to strategic developments.
With overall responsibility for operational planning for the business area for the year ahead and beyond, the successful applicant will determine appropriate activities, resources, budgets and milestones in line with corporate objectives.
Supporting the directorate’s strategy you will initiate, manage and lead an on-going programme of clear customer value propositions, brand strategy and positioning, marketing innovation, content marketing and customer engagement both domestically and internationally.
What you'll need to succeed
Communication and strategic thinking.
A strong and effective communicator, you will work closely with and influence a wide range of individuals from senior representatives of stakeholder organisations, to members of the Executive Team. Building sound external and internal relationships will be key to success.
With a significant demand for strategic planning required, you should have a proven track record of planning and coordinating multiple complex autonomous projects together with well-developed leadership skills.
