Job Title: Head of Marketing & Communications

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £42,000 - £51,000

Better Placed are working with a leading public sector organisation that are looking for a Head of Marketing & Communications to join their growing team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing strategy across the full marketing and communications mix, manage sizeable budgets and delegate responsibility to a team of 6. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a rewarding sector.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver the Marketing and Communications strategy ensuring that strategic and operational targets are met.
• Develop external communications and stakeholder engagement, working closely with local government officials.
• Delegate responsibility to a full mix team consisting of design and print, digital, internal/ external communications.

Key requirements:

• Significant experience of managing marketing and communication teams.
• Proven track record of achieving results on both a strategic and operational level.
• Experience in event management, copy writing, budget planning and ROI analysis.
• Management of PR and media relations.

Based in Sheffield, this role is commutable from Rotherham, Leeds, Doncaster and Nottingham.
