My client is one of the fastest growing health and leisure businesses in the UK. Since launching their first branch in 2008, the company has grown exponentially and now have 90 sites up and down the country. Since last year's IPO, the company have continued with their significant growth ambitions, and have plans to open a further 20 sites next year. They now have 2.5m users and are seeking to acquire a further 500,000 over the next 12 months.
To support this exponential growth trajectory, my client has made a significant commitment to their investment in marketing. They've recently hired an outstanding marketing director, who's now seeking to recruit three direct reports: including a Head of Product and Proposition.
As the Head of Product and Proposition, your role will be to ideate brilliant new propositions and create USPs for the business, ensuring that the company secures a leading edge on their competition. You'll be tasked with customer research, competitor analysis, identification of industry trends - and then the project management, delivery and implementation of the very best products for the customer demographic. Examples of product launches might look like: video content; loyalty programmes; app design; and even fitness classes.
We're looking for an experienced and ambitious product/proposition marketer, with the capability to approach a challenge strategically - but also someone who's happy to roll up their sleeves and execute. The organisation are very driven by data - so any successful recruit needs to have a really strong grasp on key business metrics, CPA/CTR etc, ensuring the board continues to see profitable ROI.
It's not essential that you've worked in the industry - the business are keen to recruit a really strong product manager with an outstanding track record in E2E proposition development - but it's imperative that you have an active passion for the health and fitness community.
For the right candidate, this is a truly unique opportunity to join one of the fastest growing branch networks in the UK. With an established brand and a commitment to growth, there's massive potential for personal and professional development - both in the short and longer term. For a health and fitness enthusiast - this may well be the very best opportunity in the market right now!
