We're recruiting on behalf of a consumer healthcare tech business based in the heart of Maidstone. Looking to appoint a Head of Product Management who will be leading a team of 8, and reporting to the Marketing Director.

Your remit will be to own the product portfolio, and ultimately handle the full lifecycle. Including bringing new products to market, their management in-life (including pricing strategies within a tiered portfolio offering), product end of life, all training for sales people so they understand the product and how to sell it in market, as well as how to position the products within digital channels.

This will be a very commercially aligned role, ensuring the product portfolio is performing to optimum levels, and that all sales teams are well versed on both current offerings as well as future products coming to market - how to position them with consumers effectively to understand the features and benefits of each solution.

Aside from the direct to consumer piece, there's also a wholesale aspect to this role. Since you will be responsible for managing their key wholesale strategic partner to ensure supply chain effectiveness. Deciding aspects around when a wholesale market approach might be better than testing and trailing via own retail outlet channels.

Partnerships will be an important aspect to your position. Looking at where demand for the product is geographically arising, understanding where there are therefore weaknesses in customers being able to access the product effectively, and helping to target and get onboard new strategic retail partners who will be able to provide the company with new routes to market and access to larger consumer reach.

Your measures of success in this role will be aligned to commercial success of the product portfolio, coupled with increase in customer reach achieved through development of new strategic partnerships.

The team you will be leading will be made up of product executives, coordinators (who handle the retail channel aspects) and partnership specialists.

Within the team you will be seen as a leader, someone who's able to cover for the Marketing Director when they're not in the office. Able to keep the place buzzing and motivation high.

The team are a very close bunch and work very collaboratively in support of achieving business goals.

There will be a reasonable amount of travel required in this position. It will be UK based principally (with some potential travel to Ireland at times), and you will be given either a company car (Audi A4 or similar) or car allowance to cover this. But because of this, a driving licence will be required.

So if this sounds like something you'd be interested in taking on, get in touch today to find out more!

Position - Head of Product Management
