A rare opportunity has been created for Head of Research to bring their vital experience, taking overall research leadership for this one-of-a-kind organisation. As a leading educational charity, this not-for-profit organisation is pivotal in encouraging future generations to enter highly technical occupations which are at risk of a skills shortage.

This unique role will give you a significant amount of autonomy and variety. Working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders, you will design and commission research to evaluate the impact of the charities' initiatives. You will also take the lead in the production of a number of publications, including a flagship yearly report used throughout industry, academia and government, and look to disseminate this information using the latest media/digital channels. Supported by junior researchers, you will have line management responsibilities and will look to grow the team further to achieve this charities' ambition of inspiring the next generation of talent in this particular sector.

The ideal candidate will have led high-profile research and evaluation programmes in social or educational research in a client or agency environment. Managing a range of high profiles stakeholders you will need strong communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to inspire audiences from a range of public and private sectors. An excellent salary is on offer as well as the opportunity to take overall research responsibility and helping this organisation excite young audiences to enter a hugely stimulating growth sector.
