The ACG HR Lead is the primary point of accountability for the delivery of Field HR services to the Analyst Consulting Group. This role is responsible for all HR service delivery at the GU level. The Lead is responsible for leading the team of People Advisors and collaborating with the Talent Supply Chain team and the Recruitment team to lead the implementation of HR practices on the ground. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that future and current employee needs are articulated effectively and addressed appropriately.

The HR Lead is also responsible for ensuring that Performance Achievement (and Improvement) is implemented properly and People Advisors are educated on legal implications.

 

The HR Lead serves as a primary connection between the Centres of Excellence and the employee, providing high quality coaching and advisory services to employees and line managers in order to optimize the employee experience.

Key activities include:

 

  • Serve employees throughout the HR life cycle (i.e., from start through departure/promotion)
  • Coach employees and line managers in people-matters
  • Drive career planning and development for employees
  • Drive Performance Achievement
  • Provide performance support and coaching for employees
  • Responsible for delivery of Employee Engagement and People programs and activities
  • Handle employee discipline and grievances, consulting with ER/LR specialists as appropriate

 

The ACG HR Lead role in particular will be expected to proactively support the design and the implementation of the ACG model, and will also have the opportunity to define and implement strategic activities to promote and support progression of Analysts within the Accenture business.

 

What responsibilities will you have?

Provides high quality coaching and advisory services to employees line managers, career counselors and the ACG Leadership Team in order to optimize the employee experience

Coach and advise supervisors and career counselors to become more effective in handling people matters especially career issues and their role in Performance Achievement

Accountability for the overall performance of the GU’s Field HR component within the ACG

Collect and provide feedback to improve HR programs and processes

Actively participate in HR internal meetings, especially with other GU People Advisor team members and Services Delivery on a regular basis

Participate in a broad range of HR processes as defined in the process descriptions primarily by providing HR services delivery leadership, setting priorities, reviewing solutions, providing planning input, and communicating to business leadership and stakeholders

Leading employees throughout the HR life cycle covering enabling execution of the following processes:

 

  • Transitions ( Post start of on boarding activities)
  • Performance Achievement
  • Recognition (non monetary piece of the process)
  • Discipline/Grievance
  • Mobility
  • Leave Management
  • Absenteeism Management
  • Exit Management
  • Compensation

 

Support mobile employees in host country on key processes like performance management and career development

Oversee the delivery of Employee Engagement and People programs and activities carried out by their team

Support standard and DTE specific reward and recognition program administration

Assist the compensation lead in delivery of the compensation process as and when required 

Drive Performance Achievement

Oversee the implementation of all Field HR processes within the ACG including annual performance achievement and priority setting.

Support performance achievement activities at worksite as needed 

Facilitate career planning and development process; coach and advise employees on creation of Career Development Plan; coach and advise Group Leads,  career counselor and supervisors to manage career development

Coach leadership on employee discipline and grievances and consult with ER specialist as appropriate (review grievance case details, check policy, establish course of action and discuss approach with employee, facilitate informal resolution)

Track and monitor ACG training budget, dashboard and metrics

Work with the GU Talent Strategist and ensure implementation of the GU Human Capital Strategy and supporting programs

Provide guidance to leadership on absences and return to work, monitor individual and group absence and reduce absenteeism

Oversee managed individual departures -- Determine severance package and additional support.  Provide case details/ business case to approving parties.  Prepare preliminary termination documents. Communicate decision and facilitate resolution of departure.

Overall responsibility for leading the People Advisors in their roles, ensuring the appropriate connection with the business.

Responsible for coordination, delivery, prioritization and escalation of all activities executed by the People Advisor

Manage recruitment and performance achievement of team members

Responsible for the career development of team members (training, supervision, evaluation)

Facilitate team work and process integration across the wider ACG team. Share best practice

Responsible for engagement of team members

Contribute to a positive work environment and promote teamwork

Effectively coach/counsel others

Lead/participate in people initiatives·

 

 

  • Human Resources generalist experience
  • Deep human resources service delivery experience
  • Solid understanding of Accenture’s business operations and business strategy
  • Strong understanding of the Client Delivery and Operations and Client and Market populations
  • Experience managing complex people change programmes
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Strong coaching and partnering capability combined with a demonstrated ability to influence
  • Strong conflict management and negotiation skills

Qualifications
