International Events Manager, Bedford - Are you a passionate and driven Events Manager with experience planning and executing large-scale, international events? Do you have at least 4 years' experience delivering successful consumer-facing events? Are you searching for a varied and hands-on new challenge within an exciting and fast-growing business? Our award-winning, international client is looking for a strategic and commercial Events Manager with a proven track record of executing successful events to join their lively and enthusiastic team near Bedford. With experience managing multi-million pound budgets and coordinating events of up to 5000 attendees, you will be confident delivering sizeable events across multiple international locations. You will have prior experience marketing and promoting events and will be comfortable liaising with internal departments and external agencies to devise marketing strategies for each event.

As International Events Manager, you will be managing events from brief to debrief, overseeing all aspects of event coordination from securing the venue and dealing with suppliers, to briefing agencies, managing budgets and logistics. You will be responsible for a number of large-scale events across venues nationally and internationally, with thousands of attendees, so exceptional project management skills are a must. Prior marketing experience would be beneficial, as this role will see you liaising with your colleagues to create marketing materials and communications strategies for all events.

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth-running of all events, managing the logistics, budgets, attendees and suppliers to ensure that everything goes ahead without a hitch, anticipating any potential issues on the day, and being able to think on your feet should the worst happen! To ensure each event is more successful than the last, you will produce detailed reports post-event analysing the successes of the event and detailing any recommendations for the future. In addition to managing multi-million pound budgets and large, high-profile events, you will also be managing a small team, so prior people management experience would be beneficial, although not essential. Above all, you will be a creative, organised and driven Events Manager with exceptional communication and project management skills who is keen to make their mark in an exciting and rapidly expanding business.
