An award winning, international law firm are looking for an exceptional CRM specialist to manage a number of their key clients in order to increase revenue and maximise profitability for their Financial Institutions sector. Joining an innovative team, who are pushing the boundaries on legal key account management; this will be much more externally focused role than many of those you might normally see in the legal sector. The role holder will be based in either London or Leeds.
The role will operate closely with senior relationship partners and advising them on best practice techniques of key account management. You will manage a portfolio of relationships with clients of strategic importance to the firm in the Financial Institutions sector, working with Client Partners, client service teams and colleagues throughout the business to engage in all formal and informal business development and client relationship opportunities. The Key Account Manager will be part of the client facing team, attending relationship review meetings, client events and other formal and informal catch-ups with client contacts. You may also be responsible for additional client development initiatives, providing specialist business development input to sector and sub-sector plans, new business acquisition opportunities and profile raising campaigns.
It is essential that the Key Account Manager has a strong academic record allied to previous business development and CRM experience gained in a professional services environment. A commercial attitude, proven track record of new sales and account management and the ability to consult internally are essential qualities that are required in this firm. A knowledge of the Financial Institutions sector would be beneficial for this role.
