Lancaster University is ranked in the global top 1%, and are recognised as outstanding in research, teaching and the student experience. The University are currently seeking a Market Research Manager to cover a 12 month period.
Your new role
You will report to the Head of Marketing and have one direct report. In your new role you will be responsible for developing a market research function within the marketing team. Over the year you will be part of exciting projects including researching application trends, brand positioning and internal market research. You will continue to develop and oversee the research strategy ensuring this is in line with the overall marketing plan. Part of your role will involve leading on projects, including qualitative and quantitative primary research.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have prior experience in qualitative and quantitative primary research. You will have an eye for data and must have the ability to build relationships with other members of the University. This is a management role and any prior team management experience would be an advantage, but experience leading projects is essential. Due to the location of the University, you must also be able to drive.
