Salary - dependent upon experience

Portal is seeking a Marketing Administrator in a part-time role to support the Sales and Marketing teams with the day-to-day running and administration of customer and prospect data and lead tracking systems, ensuring that sales and marketing activities are accurately tracked and progressed.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an interest in marketing operations to join an award-winning IBM Platinum  Business Partner  

Our new role requires a process-driven marketeer who is committed to providing a high level of service to internal customers, combining attention to detail with analytical skills.  The Marketing Administrator will support the sales and marketing teams to take ownership for updating the various marketing systems including CRM contact database, marketing automation system and sales lead management.

You will work closely with colleagues from across the teams to support Lead Generation Campaigns, Tele-prospecting and Sales Lead Management.

Our preferred candidate will build and analyse lead tracking reports that measure how well campaigns are performing, assisting campaign managers to create outstanding campaign results and helping the sales team to be more productive.

You will also co-ordinate, deliver and measure our events, webinars, digital marketing campaigns, websites and social media activities.  A critical function is to run and maintain our customer and prospect data within Sugar and Act-On.

We’re seeking a pro-active administrator who is looking to make an immediate impact in a small, agile and good-humoured team.

Role responsibilities

  • Contact Data – pro-active management including updating, cleaning and segmenting customer data
  • Lead Tracking – collaborate with colleagues to ensure leads are loaded and synced in Act-On and SugarCRM
  • Interaction with campaign managers to set up lead scoring and campaign code tagging, meeting regularly with Telemarketing to ensure leads are progressed
  • Sales Lead Management – in partnership with Sales, ensure sales opportunities are accurately updated - promptly progressing Vendor Passed Leads
  • Data Compliance – help ensure we are current with data permissions
  • Reporting – producing reports on Campaign and Sales Lead Performance, providing insight to team colleagues.  Assist in preparation of reports for Executive team.
  • Competitor and customer research – gather market and competitor intelligence via website, online channels, SEO, PR and social media
  • Manage the production of Portal Branded Templates, Collaterals, Sales Tools and Giveaways
  • Co-ordinate the production and printing of branded stationery including business cards
  • Provide support for external events, workshops, forums and webinars
  • Project management of campaigns with external agencies
  • Track budgetary expenditure; raise POs, process invoices and aid in submitting IBM co-funding claims

Essential skills and attributes

  • Management of contacts, leads and opportunities – experience of maintaining accurate contact data and familiarity with lead tracking and campaign automation systems (ideally using SugarCRM and Act-On)
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint, capable of maintaining and working with data across multiple systems concurrently
  • Possess collaborative working style, great interpersonal skills (verbal and written), with demonstrable persistence
  • Positive, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision

In this key role, you will be a resourceful individual who relishes in finding solutions to challenges and requests, adopting a flexible approach and not easily flustered.
