Marketing and Data Analyst, Oxford - A leading B2B manufacturer are looking to recruit a Marketing & Data Analyst to assist their senior sales team in executing sales and marketing strategy.

You'll become the central hub of day-to-day contact for external agencies, coordinating marketing initiatives and campaigns to develop the company's website and social media presence, driving interest and customer loyalty.

A key element of your role will be dealing with and handling data, as you improve the quality of sales data reporting to strengthen product marketing and differentiate the company from other competitors. To do this, you'll collate customer research and competitor information to prepare sales data and KPI performance spreadsheets.

The role will come with a lot of responsibility, as you'll coordinate marketing, advertising, and promotional activities, assisting with the production of marketing materials to have increased insight into the requirements for the company's future activity.

Communication skills will also be key as you'll liaise with internal and external resources to develop and manage the website effectively. You'll also have the opportunity to demonstrate your event-logistical skills, assisting in the organising of exhibitions, corporate events, and important customer visits.

Most importantly, you'll be a key and valued member of the sales and marketing team, executing business strategy and consequently influencing customer behaviour.

So, what will you need to be successful in the role? You'll need relevant marketing experience within the retail or trade industries, and a marketing qualification would be advantageous, but is by no means essential if you have relevant experience for the role.

As an individual, you'll need to be a self-starter who is personable and presentable, proficient with Microsoft Office, and the preparation and manipulation of Excel spreadsheets.
Due to your responsibilities, you'll need effective planning and project management skills, and some exposure to website design would also be desirable.
