About the Job

Objective of the role:

To support the UK Marketing Controller, and wider Marketing team, with the day to day running of the marketing function, including marketing administration, marketing team administration, management of our care line agency, samples and (where appropriate) implementation of brand activation plans.

 

Key Result Area 1: Administrative support

To provide administrative support for the Marketing Controller (diary management and personal admin e.g expenses) and Marketing team on day to day operations (e.g. coordinating meetings, meeting agenda’s and minute taking / organising travel plans, couriers)

Key ‘Super’ SAP user status – raising and managing PO’s on behalf of the Marketing Controller & Media Marketing Manager. Management of budgets.

To effectively manage and co-ordinate packaging and product sample requirements (including couriers) for the marketing and wider commercial team.

 

Key Result Area 2: Digital &Call Centre

To support with Digital on website updates such as product updates, FAQ sections, newsletters, competitions, recipe support and tailoring campaigns to UK market.

To manage consumer complaint and retailer responses - both directly and managing through the retained call centre agency.  To include briefing of product news/ changes to the teams and FAQ documents and invoicing for retailer complaints.

 

Key Result Area 3: General marketing activity

To manage adhoc requirements of coupons and literature, and to keep the Alpro product catalogues, ‘handy Guide’ and Brandbank up to date.

Managing and assistance of selected brand activations such as experiential campaigns, sampling events, trade events, supply and co-ordination of artwork.

 

About you

 Educated to CSE/GCSE level or above.

  • Relevant undergraduate degree desirable
  • Ideally, 12-24 months experience in a similar marketing support role.
  • Excellent organizational/planning skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to deal with many stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • A sound level of numeracy and literacy
  • A good understanding of Microsoft word, excel and powerpoint
  • Good understanding of the internet
  • Understanding of digital analytical tools and ability to make recommendations based on these is desirable (e.g google analytics)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
