This leading legal firm's London Marketing team's goal is to promote their brand in the UK, support sectors to establish themselves as experts in their respective fields, and to support Partners and Managers as they develop and build relationships with their target clients. The Marketing Coordinator (12 month FTC) will play an integral role in this team, supporting delivering premium and differentiated events, as well as supporting the Marketing Manager in running the alumni programme for over 1000 UK-based alums.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
Marketing and alumni events (60%)
Working with the Marketing Manager to create an annual programme of premium brand and alumni events that work to maximise relationships with target clients and alums, increase brand exposure and maximise ROI. Lead on the execution of large corporate events, acting as the point of contact for stakeholders, creating event blueprints, itineraries, guest profiles, table plans, merchandise and all other required event documentation. Work with stakeholders (including Partners and Managers) to coordinate guest lists and execute the invitation process for brand, sector and alumni events. This will involve using the CRM system to identify target clients, track responses and coordinate the follow-up and confirmation calls where necessary. With support from the Marketing Assistant, organise and execute logistics for all corporate and alumni events including: liaising with third party vendors/suppliers, the budget process, and manage, in person, events on the day. Lead on the research and selection of venues, caterers and other external suppliers, and manage the end-to-end annual corporate hospitality programme. Draft invitation materials and work with the Marketing Manager to determine event KPIs, leading regular monitoring and reporting.
Alumni programme (30%)
Supporting the Marketing Manager in administering the alumni programme for London, including producing alumni programme materials (printed/digital), monitoring/reporting alumni feedback, acting as the alumni point of contact for the leadership team and alums, and end to end event execution. Working with the Marketing Assistant, maintain accurate contact data for all alums within the UK ensuring that they receive relevant alumni mailings and invitations. Conduct alumni leaver briefings with all departing consultants.
Advise Managers on marketing plans, provide ad hoc support during workload peaks, support the team with account planning activity, including maintaining data.
You will need to have excellent organisation and time management skills, have highly professional presentation and communication skills and an ability to communicate/ interface with all levels of the organisation. Have a positive can-do attitude, problem solving skills and an ability to recommend appropriate solutions and or improvements to existing processes.
You will be computer literate (competent in Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and have previous marketing or events experience within a corporate or professional environment.
