The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) is the world’s largest provider of education and training in wines, spirits and sake. Headquartered in Bermondsey Street, London, our qualifications are available in over 70 countries. 

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team and make the role their own. This is a newly created role with scope to grow.

Key Responsibilities: 

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the execution of our marketing activities to support student recruitment for the WSET School London, our flagship provider of globally acclaimed WSET wine, spirits and sake courses. In addition, he/she will be responsible for the promotion and day-to-day management of our Career Hub activities. 

The successful applicant will also provide support to the broader marketing team across a range of varied projects as required. 

About You 

  • You hold a degree or equivalent in marketing or a relevant field
  • You have a minimum of 2-3 years marketing experience
  • You’re an excellent communicator who can engage and respond with our internal and external stakeholders
  • You have a can do attitude, no job is too big or too small
  • You love being organised and can manage multiple tasks at once
  • You're a great writer with a keen determination to ensure accuracy through proof-reading

 Your experience

 We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate experience in the following:

  • Copywriting and production of promotional materials
  • On an doffline B2C and B2B marketing experience
  • Experience contributing to the development and implementation of marketing plans to meet targets
  • Setting up and running online campaigns, including for AdWords, Retargeting and Social Media
  • Website content management preferably using WordPress or Umbraco CMS
  • Campaign analysis including familiarity with Google Analytics
  • Email marketing experience including list management
  • Day-to-day management of social media accounts
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office 

Bonus Points For:

The below are not essential requirements but will be looked upon favourably

  • Drinks industry or further education sector experience
  • WSET qualification holder
  • Ability to use Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign)
