This impressive, fast growing start up natural food business is looking for an equally impressive marketer to come in to lead their marketing function. With a diverse portfolio across retail, the brand is looking to expand its range through grocery and health food retail environments. The challenge for the business will be to do this in a way that stays true to the essence of the brand and offers a consistent experience with the rest of the brand portfolio.


The role:

This is the first core marketing hire in the business and the business is looking for top talent. You will need energy, an engaging personality and be a natural leader. You will have experience in leading agencies and delivering brand personality and tone of voice across a range of consumer touchpoints (product and retail). knowledge and communication skills. You will work closely with the business owners and senior management to develop a strong marketing programme, responsible for both its strategy and delivery. First task will be to take the reigns of a strategic brand communications project, leading and inspiring creative and communications agencies. You will also have line management responsibility for a Digital Marketing Manager and a Creative Manager.


About you:

You will need to be a high performing FMCG trained marketer who has consistently delivered throughout their career. A strong academic record is also key and your experience will have, of course, been built within food brands. You will be passionate about using your experience within a smaller business and help take this brand to the next level. You will be a natural problem solver and a naturally creative marketer. You won’t be precious about working with huge budgets as the focus for this brand is very much in below the line marketing activities.
