A well established publisher and events provider is seeking an experienced Marketing Director to join the team on an interim basis to assist in team development and marketing campaign management across a market leading portfolio of products.
The Marketing Director will be a key figure in the senior leadership team within the organisation and have a key role in shaping and directing the marketing strategy across the organisation.
Responsibilities of the Marketing Director
Work with senior management in development of marketing objectives and and strategy across each product in the company's portfolio.
Management and motivation of marketing and circulation team staff.
Management of the company marketing budget.
Development of company's databases and database strategy.
Oversee all content and ensure the quality and content of all marketing material is to a high standard.
Manage sponsorship deals and marketing partnerships, working closely with the commercial team.
Working closely with key industry partners to open up new marketing opportunities.
Development of digital marketing strategies, notably social media.
Representation of the company at industry events.
Requirements of the Marketing Director
Senior marketing management experience in the media, events and publishing sector is a key requirement for the role.
Strong team development skills are strongly advantageous.
A strong background in developing strategic marketing plans is a key requirement.
