Crowcon Detection Instruments Ltd, a part of the Halma Group plc, is a leading instrumentation company, operating on a global scale is growing fast. Due to continual growth they are and looking to appoint an innovative Marketing Director to the Board to further capitalise on all market opportunities through the development and implementation of the strategic plan.

Responsible for the whole marketing approach going forward the Marketing Director will play an influential role in the future success of the organisation through identifying and developing new initiatives, improving the range and quality of the products and growing market share through anticipating  changes to the external environment and ensuring Crowcons product portfolio remains relevant to all market opportunities

Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for; contributing to the formulation, and continual monitoring of the marketing plan, to ensure the attainment of the companys objectives. This is also a key Board appointment so you will be expected to add value to the Board through adding rigour to all strategic discussions and to challenge the thinking of your peers.  The Marketing Director will also be responsible for critically evaluating the costs and benefits of all new initiatives to ensure that resources are appropriately directed in keeping the company ahead of its competitors on a worldwide basis.

In order to make an impact in the senior role you are likely to be a proven Marketing Manager or Director who has a wealth of industrial business-to-business (B2B) product marketing experience, instrumentation would be a distinct advantage, and been responsible for devising the marketing strategy as well as implementing the tactical marketing plan. This role will suit someone who is not only a credible leader but also someone who; can establish trust in the relationship quickly, is prepared to roll their sleeves up to start with, and who will foster innovation throughout the business and drive delivery through understanding the customer in a world-wide context.
