Marketing Director – QSR Delivery

Big thinking, brand passionate, hands-on operator needed for this exceptional role with a key player in the quick service food sector. This is a role for someone who thrives on a challenge; a brand builder who can inspire his or her team and key stakeholders across the business to get behind a major growth strategy in the UK division of a global powerhouse, operating in over 120 markets with a diverse and delicious product range with huge appeal to a wide consumer base.
Reporting to the UK Director, you will drive the brand and media strategies, advertising development, promotional calendar management and POS, supported by a team of c.8 with 3 direct reports. This will include working in conjunction with the wider European brand team, sharing new ideas and best practice as you accelerate growth in the UK.
In a business with a significant retail estate, you will also play a key role as thought leader to the company’s franchise partners – building a close rapport and getting them on board with your breakthrough strategy and flawless execution of brand building initiatives. And if all this is not enough, you’ll also use your deep understanding of the consumer base to make new product recommendations and changes to product and packaging.
What we are looking for
This is a role for a very dynamic and driven individual with the ambition to make a real mark on a business, with a strong understanding of the UK market. Someone who can grow the customer base, grow customer frequency and build the brand profile and story. You will have already worked your way up the marketing ladder, almost certainly in the quick serve restaurant, delivery or retail/leisure industry, with a track record of adapting to change and bringing new ideas to the fore.
Extensive experience across the mix is of course essential, including extensive creative development work for through-the-line campaigns. You should also have a good grasp digital marketing strategies spanning social media, web-based activity and CRM for what is a true e-tail environment.
Your leadership style will be open, transparent and confident; able to galvanise those around you to perform at their very best. You will enjoy the big strategic thinking side of this role, but will always be happy to get stuck into the day-to-day of what really drives sales!
