TV Management department are responsible for the end to end P&L for TV at Sky right from the proposition through the commercials as well as the consumer facing sales marketing for TV within a trading function of the business. The team is a very experienced group of talented marketers, newly formed to combine both customer and prospect marketing now brought together working closely with proposition and commercial functions to achieve the overall ambition to continue extending Sky’s leadership in TV in the UK market.

Your key responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded, organised and driven individual as a Marketing Executive within Strategy & Planning team for TV Marketing.

You will be part of a critical team responsible for the marketing strategy and planning for both acquisition TV trading and TV Product upgrades.

Your role will involve:

- Leading the marketing plans - regularly update the quarterly and annual laydowns for TV Acquisition, TV Product Upgrades and Accessories

- Getting under the skin of the numbers and work closely with Commercial to understand everything from the targets, budgets and CPAU’s; and subsequently work with Trading Performance and IDS to understand the performance, sales and incrementality, of the marketing activity.

- Budgetary monitoring – track, chase and help to reconcile the quarterly and annual budget spreadsheets to control and report on under over spend

- Know our plans inside out - be the guide on which campaigns are running, when, how long for, what propositionoffer etc they carry, and how they sync with the rest of the business. You’ll be responsible for collating and drafting weekly team email update.

- Supporting on reporting and analysis - which campaignschannels are performing well and why and what would you do next quarteryear? You will collate and contribute to the quarterly business review and produce weekly, monthly updates as required.

- Build excellent relationships with internal partners and colleagues – you’ll be working with a wide range of people from Broadband, Mobile, Retention, Planning, Media, IDS (internal insight team) and many more.

- Understand data targeting, headroom and segmentation and using IDS’s expertise and tools to ensure we are targeting the best prospects.

- Understand the propositions and products we are selling and stay ahead of the ongoing product roadmaps so that we can ensure our planning is optimised around the product portfolio. Identify gaps in the current products that could attract new opportunities.

Your skills:

- Numerate, analytical and commercially-minded individual with strong Excel and PowerPoint ability, with excellent interpersonal skills

- Experience of analysing performance and an understanding of forecasting and commercial KPI’s

- Clear communicator who delights in simplifying the complex whilst appropriate within the detail

- Innate curiosity with a dedication to problem-solving, always anticipating the question.

- Experience operating in a pressurised environment which demands flexibility

- In the dynamic environment of Sky you shall be able to respond to frequent change with a calm and pragmatic nature

- An organised individual capable of leading their own workload and associated workstack, whilst leading deliverables and expectations

- An excellent communicator to all levels of management
