Excellent opportunity for a candidate experienced in B2B marketing and on the upward curve of their career to join a well-established, multinational distributor on a 12 month contract. Our client sells a range of inspection, testing and serialisation equipment into the medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.
THE ROLE: Based from our clients head office in Cork, the new Marketing Lead will be responsible for designing and implementing marketing strategies within the life science division of this business. You will be responsible for market research and planning, as well as being responsible for all marketing interactions with potential clients, from managing the company's website, communications on LinkedIn, PR communications and initiating email campaigns and lead generation programmes, to designing brochures and marketing materials for trade shows.
The Life science division of this business is growing and has lots of potential and this role will be a new position within our client's business. Initially, the successful candidate will be offered a 12-month contract, with some potential for extension depending on success.
THE PERSON:Our client is looking for individuals with a track record of working in a similar B2B marketing role. They will consider individuals that have been in mid-level to senior marketing roles, but if you have a number of years' experience in a marketing department and have been involved in similar day to day activities and this role looks like the step up in responsibility you have been looking for, please apply. Any candidates with any exposure to the life science or manufacturing sector will have a distinct advantage.
THE COMPANY: Established for over 40 years, this organisation is very well regarded in their field. They are the distributor for some of the worlds biggest brands in engineering and electronics into the manufacturing sector. They have enjoyed steady growth over the last decade and continue to grow still, especially within their life science division.
Salary: €30,000 - €40,000 (some flexibility, DOE)
