Marketing Manager, Contract Catering

Location: North

Salary: £60K+ + Bonus +Car + Excellent Benefits

 Our client operates in the FM and catering sectors and has a Business and Industry division  providing catering and related services for prestigious clients. They are seeking an experienced Retail Marketing Manager to join their team to raise the marketing standards in their catering contracts across the UK.  

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an integrated strategy to drive sales and increase brand awareness with new and existing products, ensuring that all initiatives and activity drives commercial value.

You will develop a promotions and customer experience strategy, work with the foodservice team to identify new revenue streams and grow sales, develop new product development plans within key categories and manage market research. Key to the role will be to support the monitoring, evaluation and reporting of range performance on a regular basis, highlighting insight driving performance and making recommendations for You will compile internal and market insights to provide input into periodic Category reviews. Manage sampling activity and other tactical initiatives in line with the Category activity plan and the strategy set by the Executive The role will include: Creation and execution of marketing strategy; including posters, loyalty cards, internet and feedback channels
Creation of brand manuals and planograms, ensuring long-term sustainability
On-going audits ensuring KPIs and brand standards maintained, along with operational In addition, you will ensure innovative and customer centric activity plans and excellent execution of strategy, developing expertise in understanding customer shopping behaviours and the role of range management in influencing them.

Ideal candidates will have a proven integrated retail marketing background, having worked in a Retail /Trade marketing role in a major consumer retail environment with strong point of sale campaign experience and a passion for retail marketing.

You will have well developed leadership and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to lead by example.
