We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to transition our marketing function from a "set-up phase" to a fully operational unit that pro-actively drives and supports the business in achieving our goals. This is a key appointment in an established high-tech SME with innovative, state of the art data management software technology platforms.
In line with company goals and targets you will manage the marketing function so that it achieves it's KPI's by building the value of key brands, generates leads, develops revenue opportunities, nurtures and retains clients, creates advocates and raises the profile of the company as a key player in our target markets.
You will report to our Commercial Director and also work in conjunction with our external marketing partner to define the annual marketing plan and to ensure it is achieved, maximising the ROI and reporting on the success of the marketing activities.
This role encompasses the full range of operational marketing activities to include producing content for news items, blogs and case studies. Produce sales collateral and update the website content. Engage across the business to generate content for marketing initiatives. Develop and communicate our product proposition both internally and externally. Creative lead generation campaigns in consultation with our sales team. Recruit additional resources and manage the team.
The ideal candidate will be smart, energetic and positive with a "can-do" attitude. Able to engage at all levels both internally and externally to promote the business, with the ability to multi task and work under pressure. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for visual presentation and the ability to communicate complex technical messages so experience in technology business is essential. Experience of Hubspot or a similar inbound marketing tool would be advantageous as would Wordpress or other content management tool along with excellent Poerpoint, Word and Excel skills.
