SF Group are currently looking for a Marketing Manager for our industry leading B2C service led client based in Birmingham.

This is a permanent position in place to bring in additional revenue to assist with the continued growth within the company. My client is an innovative, rapidly growing home maintenance business. They are looking for an ambitious and driven marketer to join their current marketing team. They are a forward thinking business at the forefront of technology, who are genuinely passionate about their products and services.

The Marketing Manager will coordinate all aspects of the brand, digital and print marketing. The role will work closely with the Directors at a strategic level but also be expected to coordinate all aspects of marketing activity at a tactical level. The Marketing Manager will have 3 direct reports (graphic designer, web developer and marketing assistant), who form the team responsible for acquiring new leads and nurturing relationships with existing customers.

Day to Day Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the brand and corporate identity internally and externally
  • Manage the CSR agenda internally
  • Manage the marketing budget
  • Manage the marketing calendar
  • Co-ordinate directory advertising, negotiate pricing, evaluate results and suggest improvements
  • Manage the creation and publication of marketing materials (internal and external communications)
  • Manage daily updates to online and offline content, including social media
  • Manage online advertising (PPC, SEO, Yell.com)
  • Project manage any new digital platform build (microsites, testing pages, apps)
  • Manage email and SMS activity via CRM console
  • Manage all agency relationships
  • Produce daily and weekly ROI reports for all marketing campaigns

The ideal person will be/have:

  • You will have at least 3-years marketing experience in a fast-paced service industry
  • Candidates will be able to show examples of where they have managed digital marketing campaigns that have included the use of paid-for (PPC) and earned media (SEO) to generate an exceptional ROI
  • Familiar with CRM and have used email and SMS as part of building relationships with customers
  • Possess excellent analytical skills and be used to reporting on a frequent basis
