Marketing Manager job working in the insurance sector for a Lloyd's Syndicate, £50K, London

Your new company
This organisation is Lloyd's underwriting syndicate specialising in property, construction and casualty insurance and reinsurance solutions. Headquartered in London, they write business globally including the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Asia, Latin America and Canada, with a particular focus on high growth markets. Having recently established themselves in the market, they are keen to grow the brand through the marketing strategy for 2017. The organisation has more than tripled in headcount over the past year.

Your new role
As Marketing Manager, you will work in a stand alone role with the help from an Assistant who feeds into the Marketing and Claims functions. This is a busy role which incorporates the full marketing mix, from digital marketing through to writing press releases and working with the media, and also traditional marketing and events. The role will include creating and implementing the marketing strategy for 2017, and working with the CEO and other senior board members on a daily basis. The company is relaxed with a start up atmosphere so this must be an environment that you are comfortable working in. The longer term opportunity with this role is to establish and grow a wider marketing team.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have experience within a Marketing Manager position in an Insurance organisation, or something affiliated with the industry. You will be able to work autonomously and hit the ground running. You will have previous experience across the full marketing mix, and with strategy and planning as well as implementation of these. Additional language skills would be beneficial, ideally Spanish, French or German.

The salary is circa £50,000 depending on experience, with a full benefits package and bonus included.
