Cathedral Appointments is recruiting an experienced Marketing Manager to join this dynamic and vibrant Exeter based business in a role reporting to Director Level.

Already an accomplished Marketing Manager with several years’ experience in a similar role, you will have demonstrable experience working across the breadth of marketing channels. Highly tech-savvy and digitally aware you will, you will have an in-depth understanding and appreciation of how your strategy directly feeds into the growth in sales and ROI for the business. Closely aligned to the sales function within the business, you will enjoy working to results based KPI’s where you are able to analyse and measure the success and effectiveness of your campaigns.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Creation of an innovative and robust marketing strategy for both new and existing products to drive sales

  • Devise marketing plans, defining the proposition for each product and rolling out when ready

  • Manage the production of marketing collateral working closely with your internal colleagues to ensure brand consistency

  • Maintain up to date market and competitor knowledge through constant review of new products and services, researching strategic marketing openings to identify opportunities for sales growth

  • Working in partnership with the senior manager to develop and deliver relevant and engaging internal and external communication materials

  • Responsible for the marketing budget and measurement of ROI across all activity

  • Implement and manage marketing campaigns to optimise performance and integrate reporting with the project and finance teams.

  • Set out and communicate campaign schedules in support of a focused sales plan

  • Working in partnership with the sales managers and teams to devise robust tactical sales plans

  • Devise a PR Strategy and develop media relations

  • Manage and plan events and represent the business as needed
