The candidate will work in the EALA Accenture Digital marketing team and will support the creation and delivery of an internal facing relationship marketing strategy for Accenture Digital across the region.  This role is more than a traditional internal communications role… the candidate will help equip Accenture Digital sales teams with the tools that they need to communicate with clients and start conversations.  This will entail creating and managing new communications channels – both face-to-face and digital.  It will also entail providing counsel and direction to the Digital Sales leadership.


In this role, the individual will need to be familiar with the component parts of the digital story – mobility, analytics, interactive technologies and big data – and an expert in digital channel marketing.  They will need to be a strategic-thinker and team player, adept at managing a complex range of internal stakeholders. They must have strong analytical and creative skills, and be a skilled multi-tasker at ease working within a busy and fast-paced environment.  The Manager is required to have excellent digital and social marketing expertise, and an entrepreneurial, agile and collaborative working approach. 



Key Responsibilities:


  • Work with the senior leadership to help articulate our ambition
  • Operate as a trusted advisor in all things communications / brand related
  • Creation and execution of a relationship marketing programme including creation of new and appropriate channels to audience
  • Creating and maintaining events and editorial calendar
  • Creating and supporting f2f events with content and material
  • On-the-ground event support (will require travelling)
  • Sourcing of relevant content and creation of additional content to drive particular themes, both proactive and reactive.  This will also include re-purposing / creating content for a digital environment
  • Working closely with creative agencies for campaign creation and execution
  • Development of a measurement / ROI model and ensure success against agreed parameters
  • Liaising with global colleagues for best practice, new developments
  • Review of social media approach, social media monitoring and market intelligence
  • Be a marketing ambassador for our digital and social agenda




Reports to:                        Associate Director, Accenture Digital




External Relationships:     Vendors, suppliers, agencies, business schools, organisations and other third parties


Internal Relationships:      OG and GP Marketing teams, CALs




What skills & experience are we looking for?




Education:                         Bachelor’s degree, university degree or equivalent


Work Experience:                 Solid experience in management and creation of marketing, in particular digital and content marketing, social and internal marketing programmes.  Understanding of business issues


Work Requirements:         Minimal travel depending on geographical span



Knowledge and Skill Requirements:


  • Good understanding of Accenture’s business and overall business strategy.


  • Deep understand of digital and social media marketing and channels.


  • Strong understanding of business content and how to apply to business issues and   problems.


  • Understanding of the competitor marketplace and Accenture’s positioning amongst peers.


  • Excellent strong writing, editorial and creative skills.


  • Experience of most elements of relationship marketing and communications, in particular strategy, content, digital, social marketing.


  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to juggle multiple priority projects simultaneously.


  • Strong project management skills, organizational skills and attention to detail.


  • Passion for content, and interest in content marketing.


  • Experience of supervising support staff, contractors and working closely with creative agencies.


  • Understanding and ability to apply marketing concepts, branding and message development skills.


  • Knowledge of analytics packages, social management systems, CRM systems. 


  • Relationship building skills and experience of managing complex multiple stakeholders.


  • Developing negotiation, mediation and conflict management skills to resolve complex issues.


  • Excellent oral and written communications skills


  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


  • Ability to deliver well-executed deliverables in support of Accenture business strategy.
