This is a Media Analyst vacancy that's a little bit different to most, in that it works on behalf of an end brand owner, but is still operating like an agency side position in that you're working with lots of 3rd party client businesses in the creation of insights around things like marketing effectiveness, improvement in sales conversion metrics and attribution modelling.
The team is set up to sell media solutions to other brand owner businesses, the media is deployed over an owned estate both on and offline, as well as in bought media channels like TV too. As the analyst within this team you're not only proving the value ROI and impact the media solution has on an end brand owner's product sales as a 'post-sale' solution, but also supporting with insights which help shape what a media solution and plan might look like based on your data analysis and insight findings 'pre-sale' too.
The company owns its own retail estate as well as e-commerce store, and the media solutions are designed to drive traffic and footfall to each of these respectively. So you're able to directly measure the impact and uplift various campaigns have at the till itself.
For both the business' and client benefit, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a suite of dashboards and evaluation tools which will help provide data led insight to both parties, as well as proof of ROI around the media solution itself.
Because digital media channels will play a pivotal part of the integrated media solution. So ideally you will have some experience working with 3rd party technologies such as things like Google Adword, or Hook Logic to monitor the effectiveness of digital media channels and carry out cross channel attribution analysis.
This is a big retail and e-tail business. The media arm for them is tasked with developing its own revenue much like a media agency does, but through selling their own channel media solutions and partnership media offerings in non-owned media channels.
The team is set up like a media agency too, but with the benefits of working client side as well. So there will be variety of project, types of businesses you will be working with, but without the demanding hours or issues which can arise in the agency world.
