This London based company is looking for a driven and passionate individual to join their publishing house as an Online & Marketing Associate, working across their portfolio of magazines, websites and events. You will be a 'technical expert' for their online campaigns.
About the role:
Working within the busy marketing department, you will be a key point of contact for their advertisers as well as working closely with their internal teams - production, editorial, design, sales, IT and finance. You will be responsible for the analysis and pro-active management of online advertising campaigns; ensuring performance is monitored, maintained and improved throughout.
Providing technical expertise to assist their sales team and their clients, you will have proven customer care experience with the ability to manage expectations and understand the commercial impact of your advice and actions. You will need a proactive attitude towards collaborating with their sales team to pitch new business, improve campaign performance and build client relationships.
While print and events experience is not essential, it is beneficial as involvement in writing marketing letters for magazines, exhibitions, conferences and client managed events will be part of the day to day role.
There is a genuine opportunity to build a long-term career within the company, with potential for rapid growth into their management team for the right candidate. There may also be the need to visit their oversea's offices and you will be working with their international teams from day one.
The successful candidate will have at least a year's experience in online sales or campaign management with a sound understanding of SEO and promotion strategies. A degree in online marketing is a plus and will give you the cutting edge over other candidates. You must be comfortable working with numbers and have strong written and spoken English skills.
You will be also to show us that you have:
- A positive outlook
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to get things done and follow-through
- Strong organisational skills - and the discipline to work to their in-house methods
- Technical curiosity and desire to learn
