Online Media Team Leader:

Help create a central London marketing hub for one of the world’s leading bookmaker companies.

As Online Media Team Leader it will be your responsibility to manage the William Hill Online UK online media team.  Reporting into the Head of UK Affiliation & Online Media you play a key role in growing and optimizing our mobile customer acquisition mostly in the UK.   Leading and supervising a team of media buyers you will be responsible for building monthly and yearly department strategy and budget planning to ensure company targets are met.  You will lead negotiations, implement and search for new business opportunities to ensure the company stays as a market leader.

So we are looking for someone who has a strong background in online media particularly with mobile apps and experience of working with media agencies and publishers. You don’t need to have background in online gambling but you’ll need to be experienced in e-commerce, social gaming or come from a 4X background.  

Whilst you will be close to the delivery you’ll have a new team of Online Media Executives to manage and develop so you will be an experienced manager with a passion for people development with an ability to work well and motivate staff under times of high pressure.  You’ll also be continuously looking to improve existing Publisher relationships and identify new ones in order to increase distribution

You’ll be analytical as it will be your job to monitor ROI and campaign results, data analysis and optimization which will mean you need to be great at providing meaningful reports.  You’ll also have excellent communication skills and comfortable using MS Excel, understand online marketing terminology as well as workings and metrics of performance channels (such as CPM, CPC, CPI, ROI, CPA etc). Creativity and innovation is key too as you’ll be initiating ideas and offers for campaigns and deals.
