They are looking for a highly strategic and creative PR and Communications Manager - an 'ideas' person who can deliver stand out integrated communications for their varied programme of public events and exhibitions.

Working to the Museum's and the Museum Group's marketing objectives & KPI's, you will be responsible for developing their annual consumer and business PR strategy through the delivery of memorable initiatives that have innovation and visitor insight at their heart.

Sir Kenneth Grange and the HST, Flying Scotsman, Future Engineers, Ambulance Trains, the future of high speed rail: These represent just a small sampling of the richness of the Museums locomotives, events, activities, exhibitions and collections. As a storyteller you will be tasked with exciting and inspiring all their audiences to drive their visitor numbers.

With line management of one press executive, you will be pro-active and resourceful and used to delivering campaigns according to set KPI's and working in partnership with Marketing across a number of communication channels.

A hands-on role, it would be useful to have an interest in railway though not essential. If this sounds of interest and you've the right mix of skills and experience, then they would love to hear from you.
