PR Communications Manager, Colchester-
One of the most highly respected independent care and support providers in the UK are looking for a PR Communications Manger. You will develop the group PR communications policy taking personal responsibility for external comms and work closely with an external agency to efficiently manage the organisation's well respected reputation.
Key Operational Requirements:
*Maintain excellent relationships with the homes and services you support; ensuring all colleagues feel well serviced, and able to call for advice at any time, therefore, maximising the opportunities for business growth.
*Generate frequent and tactical PR coverage for homes and services in most need of support.
*Create an annual external PR communications plan for the benefit of all homes and services.
*Write and place articles on behalf of the two divisions in key media for enhanced profile and positioning.
*Providing regular copy for the Group websites including blogging, case studies, features, and comment.
*Provide local and national PR guidelines and best practice for operators to manage their reputations.
*Liaise regularly with the group's external PR agency to efficiently and effectively manage ongoing 'risks'.
*Develop and coordinate a group PR communications policy which encompasses external and internal procedures for Caring Homes Group, Caring Homes and Consensus.
*Develop and coordinate a group Corporate and Social Responsibility policy.
*Develop and coordinate a group Social Media plan.
*Write newsletters, briefings, and online material.
*Attend selected events, roadshows, or workshops throughout the UK on behalf of the company and division.
*Work closely with both junior and senior colleagues to ensure the department meets and exceeds expectations at every level.
This position is commutable from Colchester, Brentwood, Ipswich, Braintree, Clacton-on-Sea, Basildon, Chelmsford, Bury St Edmunds, Sudbury, Felixstowe, Southend and most parts of Essex.
