PR Executive - 12 month contract - fixed term
We're looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious and proactive graduate to join an internationally-renowned consumer business as their new PR Executive on an initial 12 month fixed term contract.
It's all about the personality with this one, our client is looking for someone with passion and drive, who is keen to get their foot on the PR ladder and learn from their experienced and knowledgeable team. You will be a recent graduate, ideally with a degree in Public Relations, Communications or Marketing and have some hands-on experience in a PR role. A confident and outgoing individual, you will be comfortable liaising with members of the press and the public, as well as with internal stakeholders and corporate clients and will be able to effectively communicate with all of them. Using your exceptional communication and negotiation skills, you will build and maintain advantageous relationships with key influencers and members of the media, to secure favourable press coverage for the brand and its products. As there will be occasional weekend and evening work required, as well as some international travel, you will need to be flexible to accommodate this.
As PR Executive, you will work across multiple areas of the business and on a variety of product launches throughout the year, so exceptional organisational and project management skills are a must have! On a daily basis, you will act as the go-to person for all press enquiries and will provide exceptional levels of customer service, both over the phone and via email. You will write engaging and informative press releases to secure coverage across a number of important industry titles, compile press packs to send out to journalists and create content to promote the brand across a number of channels.
This exciting and varied role will see you acting as a brand ambassador at a number of exciting industry events, press days and product launches, ensuring the brand remains at the forefront of consumers' minds.

Due to the location of this Berkshire office, this role is easily commutable from Reading, Wokingham, Bracknell, Slough, Basingstoke, Windsor, Farnborough, Aldershot, Guildford, Woking, Weybridge, Epsom, High Wycombe, Maidenhead and Henley-on-Thames.
