An experienced PR Manager is required to work for a successful, leading online tour operator based in the City of London. As PR Manager you will deliver and analyse consumer PR in the UK as well other European markets. You will also work closely with others in the Marketing, Brand, Social, Site, Blog, SEO, Content, Customer Service, Trading and Product teams to support the business, protect the brand and integrate campaigns and strategy. Main duties and responsibilities:

*Be integral in the development of our PR strategy (planning, goal setting, tactics and budget)
*Manage all PR activity within campaign activities and day-to-day basis
*Ensure our press office is running efficiently guaranteeing our brands positioning
*Ensure consistent and ongoing high profile consumer media coverage through enviable, unique consumer PR
*Brief and coordinate our external PR agency
*Handle media enquiries
*Develop and cultivate contacts with key journalists, external agencies and brand ambassadors
*Create and implement blogger programmes
*Create / review press releases and other press material (infographics, still images, videos)
*Own media analysis on a monthly basis across Europe
*Monitor, flag and handle potential issues /crises to protect our brand, working closely with Customer Services and other teams
*Collaborate and cooperate with internal stakeholders

Skills Required:
*We are looking for a self motivated, eager and innovative individual with solid media contacts in the UK and Europe travel industry to include trade, consumer and business focused publications.
*Someone with solid experience in a Communications/PR role within the travel industry.
*An exceptional understanding of social media channels and digital PR.
*Business development and acquisition experience.
*Excellent organisational and planning skills and the ability to multi-task
*The ability to work under pressure, unsupervised and to strict deadlines
*Excellent team player and lots of self motivation
*Degree level or equivalent
*Proven track record in managing and executing innovative PR activities / campaigns with integration into other disciplines
*Experienced in storytelling production
*Experienced in agency management and media analysis
*Exceptional writing / editorial skills
