The main purpose of the role is to manage the print process for catalogue production, ensuring the finished product meets brand definition, costs and deadlines. You will manage the quality control process ensuring all printed material meets agreed specifications.
You will source reliable suppliers ensuring maximum service at the most effective cost to the business.
To be considered for this role you must have experience producing catalogue and promotional print on volume scales along with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to communicate at all levels throughout the business.
What We're Looking For:
They are now looking for a Print Buyer/Production Manager to become an integral part of the team. You will be responsible for:
• Creating a streamlined workflow structure
• Reviewing work schedules
• Managing resource
• Ensuring prompt delivery of projects ensuring accuracy against briefs
• You will have the final sign off of artwork prior to repro/print/production or manufacture
With proven leadership skills, you'll manage a small creative team, inspire and manage the design process and with meticulous attention to detail you will have the ability to meet tight deadlines.
You will come from a production background with knowledge about packaging, ability to check artwork before it goes to print and able to answer any questions regarding the print process.
