Are you an Innovation guru with food service of retail experience? Have you worked in highly pressured, matrixed environments? Then please read on!
You will have extensive innovation and product development experience, preferably in a food service or retail environment. This is not a technical role, so a food technologist won't be quite the right fit for this. You will be detail oriented with a real flair for multi-tasking across several products and markets at the same time. You will understand how a small mistake like the wrong word to describe something in a different language will make the product less viable in that market.
You will need excellent written and verbal communications skills and will be very detail oriented. There is a huge piece of market research happening at the moment and unless the standard operating procedures are adhered to at the user end, this research will prove useless.
About the role
You will be working with a global brand to help deliver new formats and packaging across a range of products. You will be working with weights, quantity, flavours, size and packaging. You will be working locally initially and then putting together standard operating procedures for retail colleagues both in the UK and abroad. You will look at sizing, nutritionals and multiple markets and languages. About the client You will know this brand and you will know their range is extensive. This is a global food service business with a great reputation and a desire to push the business forward!
