Job Title: Product Executive

Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire

Salary: Competitive

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours)

Working Hours: Standard hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, there's flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours)

About the Role:

The basis of every great product is the team that builds it - the purpose of the role is to support the product team in building and improving the company's core products, working to understand business objectives and opportunities and translate this information into a clear prioritised roadmap.

From there the role supports the product team in utilising development resource to move the products forward, identifying and resolving issues, communicating progress and providing training and support to drive product adoption.

Main Activities/Tasks:

  • Support the Product team in defining, documenting and agreeing, with key stakeholders, requirements for new tools and features
  • Gathering user or business requirements and help convert them into documented software features
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and work collaboratively with all teams during the product development process
  • Define the goals, set priorities and help manage the Product development process to ensure tools and features are delivered on time and meet objectives
  • Identify, prioritise and drive resolution to project issues
  • Communicate ideas with the development team
  • Documentation of feature releases and ongoing management post release of bug fixes and product refinements
  • Be a champion for the company's suite of products and assist in ongoing training and support for new features and tools in order to drive adoption and value across the platform
  • Heavy involvement in the product life cycle

Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for defining, documenting and agreeing, with key stakeholders, requirements for new tools and features
  • Responsible for gathering user or business requirements and working to define documentation for features
  • Responsible for working across different teams to identify potential issues and how they can be resolved
  • Responsible for working closely with the development team in clarifying feature requirements
  • Responsible for investigating and helping resolve support issues relating to the product
  • Responsible for documentation of features and helping in the training of users to drive adoption

Required knowledge/Skills/Experience:

  • 3 year's work experience
  • Strong organisational, project management and analytical skills
  • The ability to influence and communicate at all levels across the business
  • Experience and enthusiasm working with digital products, technologies and platforms
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to manage projects
  • Passionate commitment to the customer and to product quality - incredibly driven
  • A desire to learn and become an integral part of the team
  • Enthusiasm and passion for technology
  • Proactive, autonomous and forward thinking
  • A sunny personality
