Product Manager Mechanical Products - EMEA Region
Buildings Services & Materials Industry

Salary circa GBP 55,000 plus benefits (pension, car, medical etc)

Our client is a known global brand producing mechanical products for the buildings services and construction industries. Products are marketed through distribution channels and are installed in buildings of all sizes and types in safe and hazardous environments. The business is committed to R&D and its products exhibit advanced mechanical design features which benefit the design engineer, the contractor and the end-user.

The business follows a global strategy and is divided into three key regions of which the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Region is one. To further increase its penetration of this key market the business now requires an MBA qualified individual to take on board the Product Manager role for the EMEA Region.

The role will devise and implement strategies to profitably strengthen core market share and penetrate new relevant markets throughout the EMEA Region, whilst maintaining consistency with the global product line strategy. The post will report to the centre in the US and work as part of the regional team.

Responsibilities include managing product line profitability, new product introduction and obsolescence, coordinating new market expansion, defining and managing market research and assisting with brand development programs. Significant cross-functional interaction and project / program management will be required across the organization with sales, marketing, engineering, R&D, manufacturing, sourcing, distribution and external customers. The role will carry exposure to full end-to-end product lifecycle management. Circa 20% of working time will be spent travelling throughout the region. The position is a high profile role with considerable visibility across the company.

The new Product Manager will be experienced in a similar field in Product Management or a related area such as Business Development, Project Management, Program Management, Product Marketing etc
