Our client is a leading and global seller of consumer electronics; they are looking for a Product Manager.
Due to positive growth and huge potential, they are looking for a Product Manager who will make a significant contribution to our company's continued success. This role will suit someone that has a strong experience of dealing with Marketing on both a B2B and B2C level.
As Product Manager, responsibilties are:
To assist the Marketing Manager in constructing a marketing and commercial activity plan, trial plan, promotion guidelines, experiential, NPD, for the category and project manage key projects to be delivered on time and on budget.
To construct reports and analysis for quarterly profit updates , showing the planned direction of the profitability for the category.
Brings new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with engineering and manufacturing.
Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production.
Determine product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders.
To provide analysis for the Marketing Manager to help recommend the ideal product portfolio that will enable the business to win in the category by using consumer and shopper insight and agree the roll out plan to deliver this portfolio
To construct reports that track the performance of the category on a weekly basis, (consumer segment, customer, product type), providing clear performance updates.
Highlight areas of underperformance to Marketing Manager and work the customer teams to recommend/implement new plans to get the category back on track where necessary.
