In this capacity, you will be joining the media arm of a big consumer brand, essentially taking control of their programmatic media programme which is actually run on behalf of third party brand owners. So despite being a role based on the client side, the team you will be part of are a digital media solution provided forward to a large variety of consumer goods brands.
The media solution is deployed across both the company's owned digital media estate as well as third party such as Google Adwords, YouTube, etc. etc. Being the Programmatic Display Manager, you will be responsible for devising the appropriate strategies for end brand owners in order for them to achieve the appropriate sell through and conversion metrics, as well as ROI from each campaign.
This will be a very busy environment, devising the appropriate programmatic media programme for a wide variety of different FMCG businesses (in the main).
The target for this role is to look to exceed an estimated £3.5m in profit within 18 months off the back of these programmes. The USP of the media solution is the direct route to market and ability to directly measure the effectiveness of the programmatic media solution, since the business offers its own retail channels - both on and offline.
Because of this target and objective, as well as working with end client brands on their programmatic media campaigns, you will need to be someone who is commercially savvy and able to underpin recommendations and plans of action with clear understanding of how the mechanics link back to ROI and delivering results, as well as understanding how to track, monitor and report on programmatic revenues, deals and campaign performance.
This is a big retail and e-tail business. The media arm for them is tasked with developing its own revenue much like a media agency does, but through selling their own channel media solutions and partnership media offerings in non-owned media channels.
The team is set up like a media agency too, but with the benefits of working client side as well. So there will be variety of project, types of businesses you will be working with, but without the demanding hours or issues which can arise in the agency world.

Salary: £55,000 - £62,000
