Based in one the leading global professional membership organisations, this is a fantastic 12 month fixed term contract basis Marketing & Communications Executive role ensuring all e-marketing and communication activities are carried out to a high standard and according to the regions communications schedule.
Acting as a point of contact for UK regional staff, the post holder will provide a link between the central marketing team and staff working locally in the UK regions, ensuring they have the marketing resources required to fulfil their roles efficiently and effectively. The Regions Marketing & Communications Executive will be responsible for the production of branded e-comms for the UK regions, delivering newsletters and marketing e-mails including writing and proofreading copy; helping to raise the profile of the UK regions and regional activity to both internal and external audiences including volunteers, monitoring adherence to brand guidelines. You will also be responsible for using social media as a communication tool to members, ensuring this adheres to policy and best practice; analysing and reporting on member communication stats, identifying and implementing improvements; identifying and linking up key audiences and opportunities for cross promotion; and co-ordinating the process of district society trading name changes and constitutions.
The successful candidate will be an organised and enthusiastic individual with a good academic background, allied to previous experience to include experience of marketing through multiple channels with a strong focus on digital, email, PPC and social media. The Regions Marketing & Communications Executive will also need strong communication, copywriting and proofing skills and demonstrable skills and experience in website, email, writing web and email copy and analysis of key digital metrics and measurements.
