We're working on behalf of one of the largest Publishers in the UK looking to add a CRM Manager/ Retention Marketing Manager/ CRM Campaign Manager to the team. This role will report directly to the Head of CRM/Retention and will be responsible for developing and managing retention campaigns and customer journeys to engage the customer base and drive renewals among the digital and print subscriber bases

The company is a household name in consumer publishing. They have recently gone through a strategic change project to look at the way they interact with their customer base and are looking for talented CRM Marketers to join the team and be part of their strategic vision.

They are looking to expand their teams significantly in the coming year with upcoming vacancies in digital, campaigns and communications to maintain their growth plans.

This role is responsible for championing CRM and the brand on/offline, they are looking for someone to help the company become a renowned brand and looked as a brand renowned as a centre of excellence for CRM/Retention Marketing.

Headquartered in near London Bridge they are easily commutable from all mainline London stations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and manage retention campaigns and customer journeys to minimise cancellations and drive renewals among the digital and print subscriber bases
  • Implement campaigns to drive increased revenue per user across the subscriber base.
  • Analyse print and digital retention activity, reporting on campaign effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities to improve communications and customer experiences, through effective use of customer data and customer research
  • Test and learn to drive a clear understanding of Retention
  • Work closely with the wider Marketing team, to develop effective marketing throughout the customer lifecycle. Work closely with CRM to drive customer engagement and inform the implementation and optimisation of engagement tactics for at-risk segments
  • Implement appropriate segmentation and communications, working closely with the Data team in order to deliver personalised, relevant and persuasive marketing collateral
  • Collaborate with other departments to bring more awareness to the importance of Retention and to implement effective measures to reduce churn and increase revenue
  • Implement new channels of communications and new types of campaigns to drive improved retention rates
  • Line management of one direct report

Experience Required:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence senior stakeholders and peers alike
  • Data driven, with demonstrable experience in devising, evaluating and optimising customer contact strategies.
  • Experience in customer relationship, retention or loyalty marketing
  • Commercially focused with a strong business acumen and a proven track record of delivering commercial gains
  • Self-starter, willing to take on challenges to improve the status quo.
  • Biased toward action, constantly pushing to deliver new initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is preferred

** Must have the necessary visas to live and work in the EU**
