Sales Account Executive - International Business Media & Events
£25,000 to £30,000 Basic (OTE £45,000)
We are seeking an experienced Sales Account Executive to join an exciting new business media company based in central London. This an interesting opportunity to join the company in the early stages of its development and there is the potential for early responsibility and rapid career advancement.
We produce premier business media, conferences and events for a global audience of senior executives and professional groups who oversee various financial and regulatory issues within large corporations.
The Sales Account Executive Role:
As a Sales Account Executive you will play a key role in selling media, marketing solutions and sponsorship to a diverse range of corporate clients in the UK and from international markets that want to engage and interact with some of the most sought after business audiences in the world.
The company is a new venture that is founded by a team of experienced entrepreneurs and investors. The individual will therefore need to enjoy being part of a new enterprise and be able to work on their own initiative. The role primarily involves qualifying prospects, up-selling to existing customers and succeeding through high volume, focused sales activity.
You will receive full training and support in the service offered by our client and enjoy a friendly, sales environment in a bright modern office with good facilities. A competitive salary is offered and the potential to supplement this with a realistic bonus scheme.
You should have a proven track record of success in sales environments and have the intelligence and determination to succeed in a competitive marketplace. You must be an articulate and assured sales person with a structured sales technique, a positive manner and good all round organization and IT skills.
You should ideally have experience of selling print and digital media, marketing, sponsorship or advertising services to business customers.

This is an interesting, hands on role with an ambitious media company. You will need to demonstrate sales ability, commercial awareness and be able to work to tight deadlines
