This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Development Manager with outstanding people management skills to join a rapidly expanding BD team, within a fantastic international law firm. The team is growing significantly due the value the partnership places on BD & marketing and this role will focus on promoting the profile of Infrastructure, Energy & Disputes.
The role of Senior Business Development Manager involves a high degree of people management and significant involvement and influence with partners and associates in the UK and internationally. Your specific responsibilities will include developing strategic business plans focusing on key clients and driving revenue generation whilst developing and implementing best practice techniques internally across all areas of marketing and BD. You will also have involvement in the bids and proposals process working closely with specialists to ensure that the firm is distinguished above others and that the all opportunities are seized.
This role would suit a bright graduate with considerable experience of working as a Business Development practitioner within a fast-paced professional services environment, preferably within the legal industry. People management experience and strong team leadership skills are essential, whilst sector knowledge would be useful but is not pre-requisite. You must be willing to act as a team player as well as a strong leader and work closely with the rest of the marketing and business development teams.
