FMCG Connect is pleased to be working with a successful FMCG business requiring a Senior Brand Manager to manage an interesting stage of growth.

The successful candidate will be reporting into the Head of marketing (who is awesome) and will have had previously worked within an FMCG environment but not limited to.  

Key responsibilities:

  • Give clear strategic direction based on market insight, competitor activity and brand potential to achieve market leadership status within given categories or trade channels
  • To take responsibility for the performance of a Brand(s) within the business by setting and delivering against ambitious KPIs.
  • To compel business and industry-wide understanding of brands, activation plans and performance through all communication channels to all stakeholders, including direct meetings with customers across all sectors
  • To deliver brand specific KPIs based on commercial objectives and key brand metrics. i.e. Volume, Value, Distribution, ROS as well as consumer metrics.

Essentials:

  • 5+ years’ experience of working in brand marketing with drinks or FMCG brands (ideally soft drinks/mixers)
  • Be a highly numerate and commercial thinking with a clear ability to present robust and compelling insight / direction.
  • Have the capacity to switch easily between strategic and operational tasks , taking hands on responsibility for brands within the portfolio
  • Experience delivering projects in different areas / channels - ATL, instore, digital, events
  • To have experience of NPD, innovation and/or packaging improvements
  • Be confident, outgoing and able to communicate to stakeholders at all levels
  • Possess an entrepreneurial flair and can do attitude
  • Be able to analyse and present results, data and insights
